Advanced level workshop started in Brindisi, Italy
Overview
On 14th October, the Workshop "Advanced level Workshop for reaction in case of floods, landslides and coastal erosion" organized by Municipality of Brindisi, started at Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna.
This first day of lectures provided participants from Albania and Montenegro with multidisciplinary knowledge and understanding of the various landslide and flood phenomena, from basic to master level. The main topics covered were: landslides typology, morphology and mechanics; factors controlling landslide hazard and risk; hazards and risk mapping; landslides monitoring; selected case studies presentations.
